TRACC
Manufacturing Best Practices toolkit
implemented in co-operation with our partner CCI, author of the methodology.
TRACC is a structured approach to implement mutually interlinked Best Practices, supported by a wide range of materials, including Manuals, Maps (implementation guidelines), trainings, specialist workshops as well as DigiTRACC improvement platform, offering the ability to assess progress and plan activities as well as compare and benchmark multiple sites.
This product has been specially designed for application at large and medium-sized companies desiring to be market leaders with regard to high efficiency and low operational costs. TRACC is available in many languages, including English, Polish, Czech, Russian, Spanish, French and Chinese. Materials in Polish have been tran- slated by our team with a view to adjust and match their contents to the require- ments of Polish and Central European market requirements.
In the manufacturing environment TRACC implementation covers the following Foundation Practices: Leading and Managing Change, 5S, Teamwork, Focused Improvement and Visual Performance Measurement, which are later followed by advanced Pillar Practices of: Autonomous Maintenance, Business Centred Mainte- nance, Set-up Time Reduction (also known as SMED) and Quality. Based on the result of assessment of Client operations it is also possible to select some of the practices and to adjust the scope of implementation to Client’s specific expectations and level of maturity in implementing manufacturing improvement methodologies.
In non-manufacturing environments, such as offices, administration, laboratories etc. implementation covers Administrative Excellence Best Practice, including selec- ted elements of the aforementioned Foundation Practices as well as Lean principles, specially adjusted to the specificity of office and non-production areas. The goal of implementation is to improve organisation, streamline flow, ensure higher service efficiency and data availability.
Individual implementations
Some of the Best Practices constitute an inseparable set and require integrity for effectiveness; some can be implemented based on individual requirements of the Clients, supporting the processes already existent at their sites. These practices include:
- 5S,
- Autonomous Maintenance (basing on 5S and Teamwork foundations),
- Business Centred Maintenance,
- Supply Chain Alignment (internal and company direct external),
- Administrative Excellence.
The above modules of TRACC methodology include Manuals, Maps, trainings and specialist workshops.
